When your destination wedding is postponed, what do you do?
This past November, Anna Brigid and Harry opted to postpone the large party across the pond and celebrate with their closest friends and family in the charming, bustling town of Charleston, SC. The couple expanded their paper suite from the talented team at Charleston Street with postponement cards and a handful of beautifully designed, colorful invitations for their regional celebration.
Inspired by Stylist Lolita Jacobs, Anna Brigid effortlessly pulled off the chic style of a shirt-inspired wedding dress. She paired her look with a lovely bouquet composed of Lily of the Valley and Astilbe designed by the floral team at Charleston Street. The single bridesmaid bouquet is where we injected some beautiful fall color with the prettiest combination of flowers.
The two vowed to one another in the remarkable Greek Revival church of Saint Mary of the Annunciation surrounded by loved ones and paintings inspired by Caesare Porta of Rome. Following the ceremony, hand-in-hand, Anna Brigid and Harry took a stroll down the streets of Charleston to Le Farfalle where they joined their guests for cocktails and an intimate lunch. The tables were adorned with rich pattered linen and lush, colorful table arrangements that brought the couple’s style to life.
We feel so honored to have designed the florals and paper suite for their intimate November wedding. We especially love these photos filled with joy, captured by Anne Rhett Photography. Congratulations Anna Brigid and Harry! Thank you for asking us to be a part of your special day. We can’t wait for the big event in 2021!
