Many of us have the tendency to snap away with our phones capturing photos of major life events. However, when it comes to weddings, guests capturing these moments isn’t always necessary.
You will have secured a talented photographer who will ensure high quality photos of all those special moments. If you don’t want those photos to capture your guests on their phones, we would suggest you ask them to keep their phones away - at least during the ceremony.
From personal experience, you may know that it is easier to connect and be present in the moment when you are away from your phone or other devices. Encourage your guests to enjoy your wedding day to the fullest and unplug!
To do this, you will want to relay your wishes to your guests. Here are a few ideas to best do just that!
Use your wedding website to its fullest. Alert your guests in advance by including a note online.
Ease your guests' minds. Remind them your photographer is there to capture all of those special moments and that you will share these photos with them after the wedding.
Post up a visible sign where your guests enter.
Your guests will peruse your program leading up to the ceremony. Include a gentle reminder of your wishes to be unplugged.
