The first wedding we wanted to feature on our blog is a special one because if there is one thing our team can agree on, it is that Isra, Shand and their families were some of the sweetest people we have ever had the pleasure of working with.

This union was a very long-awaited occasion, therefore our team wanted to pull out all the stops for their special day. For the ceremony our floral team assembled beautiful, full arrangements of lilies, hydrangeas and roses placed in large urns. It created the perfect backdrop while the two exchanged vows in front of their loved ones that traveled near and far to witness this special day.

Isra was drawn to the idea of a very elegant and romantic ballroom reception, with shades of champagne, lush flowers, and lots of candlelight. Therefore the ballroom at the Marriott in the heart of Downtown Augusta fit the bill perfectly. Mimicking the bouquets for Isra and her bridesmaids, our floral team assembled beautiful, all-white arrangements that featured hydrangeas, roses, lilies and peonies for the reception guest tables. In order to bring some drama in such a stunningly large space, they created a mix of tall and low arrangements, as well as large arrangements placed in urns to designate the buffet tables. With the addition of tealights scattered across the tables, the end result was breath-taking and perfectly romantic.
